This blog is not solely about Microsoft Dynamics.
When I started publishing posts over a year ago, I set to write about – among other topics – how Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions could help make life easier for those in the manufacturing and retail industry.
All that said, my company – To-Increase – is a leading provider of Microsoft Dynamics, and I would be remiss in not alerting you when these solutions gained exposure as industry leaders.
Late last year, the analysts at Gartner, Inc. announced Microsoft Dynamics AX position as a leader in the Magic Quadrant for ERP for Product-centric mid-marketing companies. In the same report, Microsoft Dynamics NAV was recognized as a niche player.
The Gartner Magic Quadrant for ERP, which does not endorse any solution, is a graphical depiction of how vendors measure against criteria set for a specific marketplace. One of only two industry leaders, Microsoft Dynamics AX excelled in criteria including completeness of vision, usability and a dedication to an improved offering.
Key strengths noted by Gartner in regards to Microsoft Dynamics AX included:
- An ability to integrate into existing Microsoft technology
- An updated role-tailored user interface, resulting in improved usability
- A dedication to build out supply chain management capabilities in the areas of warehouse management and transportation
Again – I am not here solely to pitch Microsoft Dynamics as a solution.
But, if you would like to see one of two leaders in the Enterprise Resource Planning arena – as unbiasedly selected by Gartner, Inc. – I would be happy to show you how Microsoft Dynamics can help ease management of your manufacturing or retail processes.
